Recently collect this fungus on a dead trunk thinking it was pezizaceae, but is Xylariaceae, and I have no idea who it might be. If anyone can help. Ascostroma black, coriaceous, tubular, discoid 0.5 to 0.8 cm. Ascospores hyaline, gutulated,ovoid elongated acute apices , 12-15 x 6-8, microns.
