this looks (at least macroscopically) a lot like Pycnopeziza pachyderma.

... yes, I know - my publication in German language are not known, and neglected everywhere outside Germany - and in Germany also by most authors.

the work is out of stock, as far as I know. I am not at home at the moment. In some days, I can look if I have the books double, so that I can help you. But I am not sure ...


By the way, there is another similar work of mine, in Regensburger Mykologische Schriften 12 - about the Rhön mountains. This work can be bought still.

Hello Lothar,

I am looking forwarths (is that English ?) to receive your double's.But I can download them ofcourse.But I prefer a real book in my hands than a laptop on my knees.

 Now I remember that I have the Regenburger Mykologische Schrifen  Band 3 and bd. 6, and bought them just via the site of the Regenburgische Botanische Gesellschaft, but that was years ago.

I sure going to see your Rhon- book !

   Lothar, I am sure you know the mycosociological work of the Polish Botanical Society?

I while back I reviewed a paper for the Acta Mycologica , from that society, and , browsing in that journal, free on the web, saw that they publish many nice articles !
