This small apos (497.3 - 570.9 x 128.6 - 150.3 µm; Me = 515.3 x 139.6 µm) were growing on an Abies bark.
Asci bb, with croziers, (60.2) 63.7 - 74.4 (75.2) x (6.6) 6.8 - 8.2 (8.5) µm; Me = 69.6 x 7.4 µm ; Qe = 9.4
Spores with few oil drops, no septum, (9.2) 10.2 - 12.3 (13.0) x (2.9) 3.1 - 3.6 (4.0) µm; Q = (2.7) 2.9 - 3.7 (3.9) ; N = 100; Me = 11.1 x 3.4 µm ; Qe = 3.3
Paraphysis cylindrical with very bid VB at apical cell, slightly yellow with KOH. Marginal hairs brown, very slightly yellow with KOH.
Could you help me? please.
Thank you.

Re : Mollisia aff uda / sericeomarginta 040514 52
Hi Miguel
if I interpret M. uda correctly (Mollisia uda, HB 3276.JPG), it is a species with a lipid content of 0.
M. sericeomarginata could be a good option, but I know this species only from a few unillustrated tentatively identified collections, in which spore size and lipid content were similar as in yours. KOH was negative. Substrate Fagus wood.

Hi Zotto
I get M. uda / sericeomarginta with Andrea's key, but perhaps I am loss in some step
Very few information in the internet about M. sericeomarginata. KOH negative and Fagus do not fits with mine ¿?
Thank you.

Re : Mollisia aff uda / sericeomarginta 040514 52
Thank you again Zotto
Micro characters fits more or less Ok, include globose cells in base of ectal excipulum (11.1) 12.3 - 19.1 (24.2); Me = 15.5, and marginal hairs (23.7) 24.4 - 34.2 (36.4) x (3.8) 4.5 - 7.6 (8.3) µm; Me = 30.3 x 6.0 µm (are shorther than Svrcek, but it is difficult to say where the hair begins).
But macro characters are quite different. Svrcke said this small species is remarkable by its minute apothecia (Ok) an pale coloured apothecia (not Ok) and in Quercus (not Ok). He said one collection is "Pale grey or whitish, margin rather thick and paler, outer side almots white greyish below". And other collection is "Whitish or pale grey, outher surface brown, basal part dark brown or almost black".
I can't decide wether it is M. sericeomarginata or not.
Attached are 2 more macro pictures.
Best wishes.

Re : Mollisia aff uda / sericeomarginta 040514 52
I cannot either. Some microphotos of sectioned apothecia of the type would be helpful to see the colour difference in the excipulum.
Probably nobody reexamined the type I assume.
