Hypocrea-like species with 8 aseptate not disarticulated greenish ascospores
Alex Akulov, 25-09-2013 17:42
Alex AkulovDear Colleagues,
I need yours help in the identification of unusual Hypocrea-like fungus that I have collected recently at the fallen oak branches. Stromata are 3-6 (10) mm in diameter, with soft consistency, yellowish-green (more green when fresh and more yellow with desiccation). Single ascomata (? pseudothecia) up to 230 micrometers in diameter. Asci 8-sporous, in bunches, often with a long thread-like stipes, 21,7-24,7 x (2.5) 3.3-4.1 micrometers. Ascospores aseptate, greenish, almost spherical, 2.2-2.3 micrometer in diameter.

Did you have any idea what it could be?

Thanks in advance,
Alex
