Psilachnum?
Marja Pennanen, 20-07-2010 16:26
Hello,
I found these on some Carex leaves. They are hairy, up to 0.5 mm wide and turn yellowish, as you can see.

Re:Psilachnum?
The spores are 9-16x1,5-2,5 and carry some droplets.
Asci are 35-45x 4-6, IKI+. Don't ask for croziers, pleace ;) They may exist...
Paraphyses are lanceolate, 3-5 micrometers wide and about 20 exceeding the asci.

Re:Psilachnum?
Hairs are in groups, 50-80x2-3 and may or may not have some septas.

This can be a Psilachnum species, but I couldn't find a species, that would fit.

Re:Psilachnum?
The spores strongly remind me of what I name Ps. phymatodes, but the hairs are here only 30-40 µm long, and the paraphyses do not so much protrude.
