Hi,


On spruce (Picea) needles, small, white discomycete fungi.
White stipitate apothecia around 1.5mm in diameter.
8-spored asci IKI- even after KOH, croziers(+), 92.7 - 96 × 7.42 - 7.7 µm;


Spores 10.2 - 12.8 x 3.1 - 3.9 µm; Q = 2.8 - 4; N = 30,  Me = 11.6 x 3.6 µm

Microscopy is similar to Hymenoscyphus sulphuratus, but it is pure white and it was matured. Are there any other options?

At least I can say you need to turn all spores upside down :-)

Reminds me of Hymenoscyphus lutescens but that has amyloid asci and is on conifer wood.

I helotiales it is principally always so that the broader end is the upper end - for aerodynamical reasons ecause the spores are ejected one after the other. You can check this inside the asci.

Thank you for explaining. 
These spores remind me of a paramecium, so I always want to place the wider side down.
