Dear Ascofrance members,
I would appreciate some help with Pulvinula. Are the two taxa P.covexella and P. constellatio synonymous? If not what are the difinitive details to distinguish them microscopically. The literature seems ambiguous on this point

Yes, these two names are considered synonyms.
