Asci 8-spores, euamyloid, croziers +.
Paraphysis cylindrical plenty of medium-big size VBs.
Spores slightly heteropolar, with 2 more or less big guttules and someones small, one septum at maturity, (11.7) 13.4 - 17.4 (20.3) x (3.5) 3.8 - 4.7 (4.9) µm; Q = (2.9) 3.2 - 4.0 (4.8); N = 69; Me = 15.4 x 4.3 µm ; Qe = 3.6
Ectal excipulum with textura angularis, outer surface brown and full of medium-size guttules.
Medullar excipulum with textura intricata.

Hymenosc. lutescens is very close to H. epiphyllus, and I think it is this species. Smaller oil drops, shorter spores compared to epiphyllus, apo colour always whitish-cream.
