Hymenoscyphus species
Ralph Vandiest, 08-03-2014 13:44
Ralph VandiestHello,

I found this hymenoscyphus on corylus fruit caps? Size frb up to 1mm, stalked 0,3mm, spores pear-shaped 8/10x3,5/4µm, J+, asci 55/69x6/8µm, spores without guttules.

Could this be H repandus?

regards,

Ralph

Re : Hymenoscyphus species
Hello Ralph,
in my opinion is this Pezizella (Crocicreas) amenti (Batsch: Fr.) Dennis. The substrate is a decaing female catkin from Salix. Look at the paraphyses: they are filled with yellowish guttules in the upper part. In our distrikt not rare.
Greetings Peter.
