Bonjour,

Toute piste sera la bienvenue...

Apothécie n'excédant pas 0,8mm, blanc pur, poils courts peu visibles, courtement stipité (0,2 à 0,3mm), bien « ancré » dans le support, des éléments de celui-ci y étant arrachés lors du prélèvement.

Asques octosporés cylindriques hyalines à crochets +, IKI -, 55-70 X 8,5-9,2µ.

Paraphyses hyalines, filiformes à légèrement lancéolés, se divisant à divers niveaux, septées, parfois guttulées, 40-50 X 2-3µ.

Excipulum ectal type textura prismatica.

Poils hyalins, septés (3-4 septa), guttulés, incrustations hylines et « légères » sur la paroi externe, sans modification après traitement au KOH.

Spores hyalines, cylindriques/elliptiques à réniformes, 7-9 X 2,5-3,6µ.

Les apothécies montrent un aspect « glacé » sous le microscope si l'on fait attention à ne pas « l'écraser » lors de la préparation.

Could you please tell us the substrate and origin of the collection?

Is it possible to give a range of mature apothecia, e.g. 0.3-0.8 mm?

It seems the dead immature asci have a slight apical wall thickening, which disappears in mature dead asci.

The hairs have a little granulation but are principally smooth. Psilocistella would be a name to apply what comes in my mind.

Thanks zotto, I forgot those important details...

Find in a biological reserve in Aslace (Vosges - France), alt 980m, on softwood (Picea or Abies) very wet (imbu en Français).

The matures apothecia I studied were between 0,5 - 0,8 mm. I don't know if there were smaller ones, but I can have a look.

It will be probalbly sequenced for the inventory of the reserve.

Thanks! I just saw a little similarity with Ambrodiscus pseudotsugae but the illustration I have once made differs in the ascus wall (folder Hyaloscyphaceae).
