I know what you mean, se my collection of tubifera, red included.

Dont think so. This is flat,like 1 mm height, a bit glossy, tubifera is elevated, grainy.

it is immature Dictydiaethalium plumbeum, with typical white subiculum. It is not an ascomycete but a myxomycete.

Confirming, local vernacular name suggests it should be gray colored,
original specimen after 24 hours: link

Adding image of another specimen with fine structure on top, diameter about 10-15 mm.
