Hello forum,Boudier dedicated his Galactinia miche
Gyromitra (Discina) sp. collected on rotten conifer wood in Japan.
Fruitbody about 8-15 cm., stalk short, furrowed.
Spores coarsely reticulate, with three oil drops, 30-36 x 14-16 (including appendages and warts), 24-27 x 12-13.5 microns (without appendages).
Paraphyses clavate upto 12 microns, with brown granular contents.
Does G. perlata have such reticulated spores?
Masanori Kutsuna
Yes, G. perlata is finely reticulated at maturity, but I never saw such a reticulum!
Keep this collection preciously, it could be interesting to compare it with European material.
Best.
Nicolas
I collected "Gyromitra perlata" several times, All samples have coarsely recitulate spore at maturity.
Regards,
Kutsuna.
