Hello, everybody!This one was collected in 2008 year on bark of Acer tataricum. Actually, I don't have credible ideas, what this can be:(
Dimensions:
Apothecia: up to 0,5 mm in diam, 0,4*0,8 mm.
Sporesize: 15,3-17,8* 5,3-6,3 um, mature become 1-septate
Asci: 90-100*10-12 um
Apical pore blued in IKI
Pleace, help!

Here you should show us the IKI-stained apical ring in big resolution. Presently I have no idea.
Also a median section through the apothecia showing the excipular cells (perhaps in KOH) would be helpful.

Dear Martin, Is unitunicate or bitunicate? Macromorphology and characters for me resembles to Rhytidysteron, but its a Patellariaceae. You could see the paper: Murillo, C. et al. 2009. Molecular data indicate that Rhytidhysteron rufulum (ascomycetes, Patellariales) in Costa Rica consists of four distinct lineages corroborated by morphological and chemical characters. Mycological Research 113: 405-416. Rhizodiscina lignyota has brown and inequilateral spores, and the base of asci are narrow and long. I hope you find it helpfull. Best wishes Luis.

For Luis ; now the genus Rhytidhysteron is now in Hysteriaceae (See Boehm and al. in a recent SIM). Itsn't one of them here.
I don't think it could be Rhizodiscina too, as Luis. Here we need a median vertical section, as Zotto said, and perhaps more precisions about ascospores.

Here is some more ascospores (septate and non-septate) and stained apical pore.
Actually, staining was rather weak.
Unfortunately I have no possibility to make photos with better resolution:(
Placed in KOH 3 %, ascocarps began to extract bright cherry-colored pigment!
I'll tried to make a section, but it was all dark because of this pigment.

Did you see the red pigment extruding into the medium? My idea is a Dermea (which shows such a strong iononmidotic reaction in KOH), but on Acer I do not know if this is possible.

Yes, this is a good idea! I know this species only from Groves 1938. I do not know whether it has a conspicuous pycnidial anamorph.
