Hello,I have found a small pyrenomycete with black, 0,1 mm broad pseudothecia growing on the surface of Juncus-stems.
It has green, 1septated ascospores which have an inconspicuous dotted surface and a thin hyaline sheath (not visible on the photos). Pseudothecia are surounded by some brown hyphae (something like a subiculum?). Interesting are also the pyriforme, short stalked asci.Â
Perhaps someone has an idea.

Sorry, I have forgotten to tell something about sizes: Sp. 13-17x2,5-3,5µm, Asci 14-22x10-11µm.
I think it can be a member of the Mycosphaerella group "Phaeosphaerella"...

it was collected on Juncus stems from a +/- wet habitat (not on dried stems). I cannot see a connection with the paper which contains only Jahnula species. What do you mean?
I have identified this species as Mycosphaerella perexigua s.l. Perhaps it is a new var. from this one.

I thought the fungus that you found could be phylogenetically realated to members of the genus Jahnula. Since the fruitbodies have hyphae subtending from the walls. Were the hyphae wide? (ie. were the hyphae >20-30 µm wide?)
But if you are confident that it is a Mycosphaerella sp. than maybe, I am just mistaken.
Do you isolate things in pure culture by any chance?
Nice pictures by the way. I enjoy visiting the Asco France website. I have done a paper with Jacques Fournier in the past. Maybe, you know him...

The Jahnula-comparison is not bad, but I think this one should be a member of Mycosphaerella. I did not messure hyphae sizes so I cannot tell you how long they are.
I am just an amateur mycologist, so I am not able to do something with cultures or DNA.
I know Jacques and of course I had your paper already on my PC ;)

Perhaps, if you find the fungus again you could check the measurements. Maybe, if you have time in the future and find the fungus again you could send me the specimen and I can see if it may belong in the Jahnula!
