I was happy to find these orange asmocyetes which
I found this Psilopezia (?) in a dead trunk near a creek, the ascocarp reach 2 cm. diameter, i think possibly is P. juerensis Henn. but im not sure. Asci 250 x 20 microns, ascospores elliptical, smooth, hyaline, 20 x 12 - 13 microns, containing two large oil drops , paraphyses slender, simple, apex clavate.
Il convient d'abord de savoir s'il s'agit ou non d'un Psilopezia º Adelphela ou d'une espèce du genre Pachyella !
Il se peut que se soit Adelphella babingtonii, dans ce cas l'excipulum ectal est composé de cellules ampullacées, terminées par des hyphes allongées. Les ascospores sont ponctuées, mais non lisses (voir dans le bleu cotton, au plus fort grossissement).
S'il s'agit d'une espèce de Pachyella, les ascospores devraient être de dimensions plus grandes que celles que vous indiquez et l'excipulum ectal formé d'hyphes palissadiques. Dans ce cas je pense à P. punctispora Pfister, ascospores 21-25 x 12-14 ?m ou à P. hydrophyla (Sacc,.) Pfister, awcospores 22-26 x 13-16 ?m. Ces deux espèces possèdent une faible ornementation sporale
Les espèces à ascospores lisses du genre possèdent des ascospores plus grandes 18-25 (-28) x 13-16 pour P. clypeata (Schw.) Le Gal et 27-30 x 13-15 pour P. peltata Pfister & Candoussau
