Orbilia en tronco caido sin corteza de Populus canadiensis. Llego hasta el grupo serpentina, ¿O. bicknelli?. ¿Buen camino?
Apotecios de hasta 0.6 mm. Esporas de 10-12 x 2.5-3 micras, con SB intraesporal que casi recorre todo el interior de estas. Parafisis con abombamiento distal y VB terminal en muchas Ascas de hasta 84 x 8 micras, con 8 esporas, biseriadas. Excípulo ectal con células globosas y subglobosas.

Orbilia in stem without bark of Populus canadiensis fallen. Get to the serpentina group, O. bicknelli? Good way?. Apothecia of up to 0.6 mm. Spores 10-12 x 2.5-3 microns, with intraesporal SB that runs along almost the entire interior of these. Parafisis with distal bulging and VB. Asci of up to 84 x 8 microns, with 8 spores, two serial. Excipulum ectal with globose and subgloboses cells.

Yes of course, it is. If the asci were 16-spored, it would be the O. serpentina Pat. I sometimes tried to find a nicer name for it than this American village, but in vain.
So I would need the collection data to include it in the distribution map.
