Scutellinia on Horse dung
Malcolm Greaves, 31-05-2013 19:04
Malcolm GreavesThis Scutellinia was clustered on Horse dung. Covered in short (less than 380 x 15 - 20) but very dark hairs. Most have simple roots but some are bi furcate.
spores average 20.4 x 13.4 with ornamentation as shown.

As ever suggestions please.

Re : Scutellinia on Horse dung
Adio Mal,

This group of Scutellinia is very difficult.
Hairs < 500 µm and ellipsoid spores with rounded poles could correspond with 4-5 species and we can't explore more with data we have here.
I don't want to give names if I'm not sure...
So, sorry, for this collection, it seems to me it's impossible to propose more,

Sincerely,
Beñat
