Je sollicite votre aide précieuse pour m'aider à déterminer cette espèce récoltée hier. Apothécies de petite taille (0.5-1 mm), cupulées puis étalées, bordeaux ou lie-de-vin (mais la partie centrale apparaît grise en macro). Environ 1900 m d'altitude sur branches de conifères (difficile de préciser davantage), en terrain humide. Piste de l'Ancienne Vacherie du Devensé.

Microscopie : Spores cylindriques, parfois presque fusiformes, 8.8-10.5-12.0 x 3.1-3.4-3.7 µm (Q = 2.6-3.1-3.7) dans l'eau, lisses, en deux rangées irrégulières dans les asques. Asques octosporés à appareil apical punctiforme bleu dans le lugol (2 points bleus distincts). Paraphyses cylindriques avec, souvent, une masse cristalline à l'apex. Je joins une planche pour illustrer tout cela. Bien entendu, je peux faire d'autres observations si nécessaire.

Quelqu'un aurait-il une piste à m'indiquer pour la détermination ?

Hello everyone,

I would like to share with you another sample from the "Ancienne Vacherie du Devensé" (Alpes-Maritimes, France). Apothecia small (0.5-1 mm), more or less cupulate, reddish-purple (color burgundy). Under the microscope, the central part appears slightly grey. Altitude circa 1900 m on conifer branches (difficult to say more). Track of the "Ancienne Vacherie du Devensé".

Microscopy: Spores cylindrical, sometimes almost fusiform 8.8-10.5-12.0 x 3.1-3.4-3.7 µm (Q = 2.6-3.1-3.7) on water, smooth, in two irregular rows in the asci. Asci with blue apical apparatus in Lugol (2 distinct blue dots). Paraphyses cylindrical, often with a crystalline mass at the apex. I attach some pictures to illustrate this. Of course, I can make further micro if necessary.

Does anyone have an idea ?

Thank you very much for your reply. Patinellaria sanguinea seems a very good idea (I've also seen some old dark specimens in the same wood piece, but I did not collect them). However, I find conflicting information on how the asci react to lugol in this species...  could you please confirm me that asci from this species gives a two little blue dots in Lugol ?

Also, if someone has a key for Patinellaria species, or at least a good description of Patinellaria sanguinea, I would be very interested in checking that my spores measurements fit well to this species.
