Malcolm Greaves, 04-06-2013 00:27
Malcolm GreavesThis Scutellinia was found on recently turned soil from a ditch clearance.
5mm across with hairs up to 400 um x 25
Spores average 18.8 x 13.3 with large isolated warts.

Is this S umbrorum?

Thanks
Mal

Re : Scutellinia on mud

Thanks. I tried boiling in LCB and could find no sign of the outer wall loosening but it did show the ornamentation well. Some warts were up to 2 um across and 1.4 high.
