I found these small discs on sandy soil. They measure 4à5mm diam, are 8 spored. Some spores are smooth but other seem to have a reticulum? Did I do something wrong? Q>2, mainly 2 large guttules and some small ones, spores 14/16x6/8µm.
Can this be M. Flavorubens?
regards,
Ralph

Re : Melastiza flavorubens?
Adio Ralph,
For me, it's not M. flavorubens, surely not. It's a common species here (Euskadi= Basque country) and I know it a little. For example, the color of hymenium is very different. M. flavorubens seems to be a Scutellinia at the naked eye, not your collection, too yellowish !
In a second time, I'm agree with Marcel. It seems to be, perhaps, Aleuria congrex. I have just one collection so, I'm not specialist, but spores seems to be typical.
