Dear Friends,an interesting record on sandy soil near Tortula ruralis. The sclerotium is gelatinosus. My friend thinks, this is Botryotinia spec. Spores: 15(17-22)25x6(6,5-8)9µm
Best wishes

Re : Botryotinia spec.
Hi Zoltan
looks very interesting, but this needs good microphotos of living asci and paraphyses, and freshly ejected spores . The contents of the paraphyses are important. Do you have it still fresh?

Re : Botryotinia spec.
This is very good! You see that 4 spores are distinctly smaller than the other. So I am quite sure you have Sclerotinia trifoliorum.
