Good night againThis yellow-pink Orbilia was growing on "garbancillo", Erophoca baetica (Astragalus lusitanicus), < 1mm, in dune environment, Huelva, 40 m.
Asci eight spores, very slightly IKI+, croziers?, base in "H", (28.5) 36.4 - 42.7 (46.6) x (2.5) 3.2 - 4.1 (4.5) µm; Me = 39.1 x 3.7 µm.
Spores elipsoidal-fusiform shape with one SB near the wall, (3.6) 3.8 - 5.1 (5.4) x (1.6) 1.9 - 2.3 (2.4) µm; Q = (1.7) 1.8 - 2.5 (2.6) ; Me = 4.4 x 2.1 µm ; Qe = 2.1.
Paraphysis capitated.
Ectal excipulum with textura angularis.
Medullar excipulum, 3 layers from top to above: intricata/prismatica-angularis-intricata.
Hifal system at base with crystals.
Thank you.

                Hi Miguel
certainly O. eucalypti. I first thought there are elongate SBs but this is probably a deception of 1 SB and 1 LB very close.
Was the branch on the moits ground? Only when exposed the species has bright yellow-orange apothecia.
The substrate for this polyphagous species would be new. Can I take up the collection data for my map?

Yes, the collection was in the north face of a very wet dune and the yellow apos were more on the upper face of the stem and the pinks on the side-bottom face.
Later I will sent you the collection data.
Best wishes.
