Bernard CLESSEBonsoir à toutes et tous,Pourriez-vous m'aider à
The rapid solution on my galls on Hypoxylon rubiginosum have encouraged me to this question:
Does somebody know what insect could be responsible for this galls. They are common on Stereum sanguinolentum in the Bavarian Forest (Germany). I suspect it could also be a Diptera.
Regards from Lothar
I am no entomologist, so this may be completely wrong - but see the attachments; perhaps that "lid" in the fourth image might correspond to the "mucilaginous net" in the description . . . . ?
best wishes
Chris

Best regards from Lothar

Best regards
Björn Nordén
Hello Björn,
I don not remember how I came to this, but I finally named my fotos like this:
Keroplatus testaceus cf. (Mycetophilidae)
Best, Lothar
Hello Chris,

But I do not remember what characters brought me to the decision to name this way ...
Thanks again for your help-
and best regards, Lothar
