Hello,I found that in an herbarium sheet...
Any idea ?
There was no indication concerning the phorophyte, but according to the localisation and what it look, it was maybe on Fagus sylvatica. In France, Puy-de-Dome (63).
Thanks for the help !
Rémy
Hi Remy,
here you are definitely in the wrong forum. And, additionally, a determination of those fungi without microscopic details is not more possible than it is with many ascomycetes :-(
Regards from Lothar
Thank you for the indication ! I will try in another forum... concerning basidiomycetes !
I will make some microscopical analysis, but I am for the moment just looking for a genius indication ;)
Bests,
Rémy

Finally, it sounds to be relatively close to Hyphodontia quercina (Pers.) J. Erikss

Hi Remy,
in my opinion this could well be Hyphodontia quercina. But - it could as well be something else from the same or another genus. It is poor speculation and - if you ask me - waste of time to look for a fitting species without looking through the microscope.
Regards from Lothar
Yes, I agree with you. I made some cuts this morning and saw that it seems to be relatively close to Hyphodontia quercina. But as I miss fitting bibliographical references ; it will remain hypothetic ;)
Best regards,
R.
