I was given this pretty asco. It was found in Moravia, on a decaying Quercus stem in a riparian forest.
Apothecia very little, max. 0.5 mm in diameter, hairy, white, growing on subiculum.
Asci 110-145 x 10-12.5 micrometers, inoperculate, octosporic, cylindric-clavate, apical aparate IKI+ (blue without KOH pretreatment), with croziers.
Ascospores 43-53 x 2.5-3 micrometers, usually 3-septate, somewhat bent, hyaline.
Paraphyses 1.2-1.5 micrometers broad, septate, branched.
Excipulum textura prismatica.
Hairs to 90 micrometers long, septate, with obtuse apex (sometimes broadened).
The best possibility I found is Arachnopeziza delicatula. What do you think?
Thank you,
Zuzana
