Bonjour à tous,

Je sais qu'on sort des Ascos ici mais quelqu'un connaîtrait-il ce zygomycète observé récemment sur charbon de bois d'une place à feu ? Je n'en avais jamais observé sur un tel substrat…

a) sporangiophores, hyalins, coniques, à sommet arrondi, longs de 1300 mu
b) spores ellipsoïdes-cylindriques à subglobuleuses, lisses : 7-10x4,5-7

This is obviously a Mortierella, probably M. simplex. See my key in Persoonia 9: 381-391. 1977.
I have found it in the winter in a similar situation. Did you also have quite cold conditions?
