Scutellinia patagonica
Malcolm Greaves, 07-06-2016 22:03
Malcolm GreavesA group of these were on the muddy bank of a small stream.
Apothecia up to 8mm across. Hairs up to 700 x 25 multi-septate pointed and with mostly simple with some bi/tri furcate roots.
The spores were broadly ellipsoid av 19.5 x 15.3 with isolated warts most small but some very large.
I am hoping someone can confirm that this is S patagonica.
Thanks
Mal

Hello Malcolm

We clearly see your photos on the ornamentation of the spores; I also think that it is, in my opinion, S.patagonica.

Michel.
