Re : Hymenoscypus sp.
I am sorry but there are several possibilities. Without living spores, best with a photo, I can say nothing. Possible would be Hymenoscyphus menthae which has multiguttulate spores.

Re : Hymenoscypus sp.
Thanks for your comment. H.menthae seems to be in good agreement I will try to have a photo of the spores.

Re : Hymenoscypus sp.
Have now micropictures. Spores (14.4) 15.9 - 20.9 (21.9) × (3) 3.1 - 3.9 (4.1) µm, Q = (4.2) 4.4 - 6.5 (6.7) ; N = 30,Me = 18.9 × 3.5 µm ; Qe = 5.4. Conclusion is we think this must be Hymenoscyphus menthae.

Re : Hymenoscypus sp.
Yes, this is great, quite clearly without croziers, and spore guttulation/spore size correct.
4 mm diam. is actually very rarely attained, but it occurred.

So this will be the first record for Scandinavia outside of Denmark!

Re : Hymenoscypus sp.
Thank you very much for all help.
The tree apothecia I have seen measured: 0.8 - 2 × 0.4 - 1 mm.
