Re : Sur ronce
it would be super if hosts could be given in Latin (and local language) and likewise if the locality could be given: Country, region etc. :-) (this is not directed towards this forum entry but to all forum entries) :-)
cheers

Re : Sur ronce
Hi Elisabeth,
could be this Moellerodiscus species on Rubus, here's the link to Zotto's folder: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5SeyOEkxxZhUHB0RWNSLUpBa1U&usp=drive_web&tid=0B5SeyOEkxxZhYVZub0N1aGY5YTg
I'm sure he will give you a more detailed answer.
Best wishes,
Gernot

Re : Sur ronce
This seems a good idea, Gernot, I am only sceptical because of the shape of apical ring. It looks to mee to much like Calycina-type. Maybe it is because the asci are still turgescent?
The globose excipulum supports the idea Moellerodiscus.
Would be good to clarify the ascus base (croziers?).

Re : Sur ronce
Yes, indeed. This ascus is dead - but it looks to me still like Calycina type. A riddle, I am upset....
Thanks for the ecodata - I appreciate, they are really important, as these data may get completely lost with the years.
Now when I compare my drawing of Moellerodiscus tenuistipes, I must say that this species fits quite well. The apical ring there does not really look like Sclerotinia-type, nevertheless it must belong in this or any close genus.

Re : Sur ronce
Ja, könnte mit M. tenuistipes übereinstimmen.
