Identification of fungal spores and fungal hypha
Pundt Julia, 18-12-2018 09:58
Hi everyone,

I am writing my masters thesis on the food spectra of freshwater amoebae. We have collected pictures from the inside of the amoebae und discovered probably fungal spores as well as fungal hypahe (see pictures below).

I am not 100% sure however and I am asking you for your help and advice regarding what you see/identify in the pictures (species/group etc.).

Thank's for your help in advance,

Julia Pundt

Dear Julia,

I would recommend to ask in a microscopy forum like this:

or this French one:

There a lots of people familiar with amoeba and their culinary focus.

Best regards
