Lamprospora tortulae-ruralis
Georges Greiff, 23-12-2018 22:27
Hello all,

I found this growing with Syntrichia ruralis (probably var. calcicola) on soil. I think it is L. tortulae-ruralis as shown on octospora.de.

Ascospores spherical, reticulate, 16-18um in lactophenol cotton blue.

Might be a first for Britain...

Georges

Ciao ragazzo,
I guess you are right.
What about the shape & content of the paraphyses?
Size of the asci?
Cheers,
Marcel
