Hi there,

yesterday i found this ascomycet on populus bud.
Could this be a Calycina or is it something else ?

The spores look of different size. Why not Gemmina (Calycina) gemmarum? Though I know this only from November till March. But everything is earlier these days.

Der Fund zu dieser Zeit war wahrscheinlich nur Glück, weil es war der einzige Befall auf einer Pappelknospe die ich dort gesehen habe.
Wahrscheinlich wird es erst in ein paar Wochen deutlich mehr Befälle geben.
