A friend asks me my opinion on this asco he has found.

Ascus IKI+ Croziers+ with these dimensions : 40-50x5-6 µm

Paraphyses filiform to cylindrical, less then 2µm wide, full of refractive guttules.

Spores 5,9-7,3x2,4-2,8 µm  Q=2,1-3

Textura is difficult to appreciate because cells are embeded in a gel. May be with cylindrical cells.

Any idea ?

Any substrate known? A Cyathicula?

Re : Asco ID
He says two possibilities : Carpinus or Quercus.

Re : Asco ID
So I assume a twig, not a trunk nor a leaf. Anyway a Cyathicula, but which?
