Hallo Elisabeth

unglaublich! Habe keine Ahnung. War das ein ansitzender Ast? Und stammt das aus den Bergen?

Merci Zotto, ja ein ansitzender Ast, in einem Auenwald in Wassernähe auf 615 m.

Hello,

Incredible indeed! Any trace of subiculum? How about a "strange" Arachnopezizaceae, not quite Arachnopeziza, but something near?

Re : Hyaloscyphaceae

Hello,

the apothecia grow under the detached bark, no subiculum.

My guess is a Psilocistella, but the paraphyses look odd, perhaps arachnopezizoid?

or Psilocistella (s. lat.)... but yeah, the paraphyses (and spores?) don't add up, and reminded me of some members of Arachnopeziza. ...but it could well go clearly "outside" those two.

-who's doing the sequencing? =;-)

Re : Hyaloscyphaceae
Hi all,
great collection Elisabeth, Hi Zotto and Timo, really interesting collection, if you want I can do sequences Elisabeth. You can send it to me with other collections of Tympanidaceae or other interesting Leotiomycetes if you have. No problem, also I would like to study the morphology in detail.
Best wishes
Luis

Re : Hyaloscyphaceae

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestions, indeed a nice species, my first collection was small, today I was looking for more material, now it's enough for sequencing.
