Red pyreno on Pinus
Juuso Äikäs, 09-01-2020 21:59
This one was growing on the tips of a fallen Pinus sylvestris branch. Asci measure around 100 x 8-9 microns, around a million spores per ascus. Spore size avg. 3.5 x 1.

Re : Red pyreno on Pinus

Hi,

Please compare to Thyronectria pinicola or T. cucurbitula.

It would be useful to observe asci containing ascospores. Here you only show ascoconidia.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried to search for them but only those conidia showed up again.
