Could anyone help me with this Nectria-like asco with asci of 104x8µ and long pointed spores of 49x4µ?


I found it on the bark of Quercus robur.

Hi Marc,

it could be Xanthonectria pseudopeziza.

Furthermore, it is best to observe the asci and ascospores of Hypocreales in water or in lactic cotton blue.

Thank you for your help. Tubeufia cerea could be the one but I don't have the main key of Tubeufiaceae of Rossman 1987 in Mycological papers 157.


Anyone could sent it to me? Thanks in advance
