On the 28th of july I checked species preserved in distilled water for 14 months and found some interesting details.But I also missed items like asci and paraphyses.
Photo 1 shows the circular umbo inside the ring of the germ pore (upper right corner).
Photos 2 (spore cell just above the spore) and 3 show a ring on top of the germ pore, this is often mistaken as being a "polar cap".
Photo 4 shows a geminating spore cell.
