I found Melanospora lagenaria on a fallen and decaying fruit body of Fomitopsis betulina. Under the dissecting scope I spotted a couple of pale lageniform shapes. I wondered if they were just imature Melanospora but the very distinctive spores were totally different. Could anyone give me a name?
