Hi everyone, I found this Antinoa-like species last week and I was wondering if anyone has ever seen something like this and knows what it is.
•Growing on unidentified decaying wood/cone? Conifer forest
•Ascoma 763 microns high and stipe 144 microns wide
Here is the iNat link for the photos: https://www.inaturalist.ca/observations/252227522

Re : Antinoa sp. ?
Hi Francois
your ascus and spore photos are too low resolved in comparison to the excipulum, and their size not given. Anyway I suspect this is Cudoniella buissonii, a species which may occur white and blue-green, and which is very difficult to place in a proper genus.
Could you please give me an exact date? Will you preserve the find?
