Hi,maybe someone has an idea regarding this asco/lichen:
orange 1 - 1.5mm fruiting bodies, partly with small stipe, on Sanionia uncinata and Barbilophozia barbata, over algae layer, algae partly surrounded by hyphae, on granite rock in very humid oceanic spruce pine forest in the hemiboreal, southern Finland.
I did not see mature spores.

Re : small asco on moss
perhaps try to put a small amount of KOH with a needle to the fresh apothecia. Perhaps it will turn pink. Then it could be a Luteodiscus species. And find ripe apothecia!

you can delete the other 9 - a bit work.

put KOH on it, turned pink instantly :)

Re : small asco on moss
then Luteodiscus is sure. Please try the reaction of the asci with IKI (not Melzer - I hope it works with the unripe ones alraedy) if the porus reacts blue (euamyloid) or red (hemiamyloid). There are two species, L. bryophilus (euam.) and L. hemiamyloideus (hemiam.).

Re : small asco on moss
did the reaction as in Baral et al. 2023 and the tips turned blue

Luteodiscus bryophilus then
Congratulations - by now I did not find this species myself.

Re : small asco on moss
sorry
L. epibryus is the correct name (not bryophilus).
