Lothar Krieglsteiner... 15.7.24 in the Alps. There were many asci with normal spores, but repeatedly also asci with a lot of small spores inside (and outside later).
I hever read of ascoconidia in Cudonia - did somebody else note this phenomenon?
Or should it perhaps be a intraascal parasite? (I do not believe this now).

Hi Lothar, I remember Cudonia and Spathularia forming conidia on the spores. My drawings should show that. Surely these are not ascoconidia because they can only be found inside dead asci.
