Pyrenomycetous fungi on old stalks of Chamaenerion
Åge Oterhals, 27-06-2025 14:09
I found this pyrenomycetous fungi in mountain area of the western part of Norway on last year's stalks of Chamaenerion angustifolium.
Perithecia black, erumpent from under epidermis.
Disc flattened, circular with diameter up to 450 µm and 250 µm high neck.
Spores hyaline, multiguttulate, smooth; 1-septate with constriction around septa, 19.3-21.7 x 9.9-11.0 µm
Asci unitunicat, MLZ-negative; 134-155 x 12-14 µm.

Any help with identification is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Åge
