Josep TorresHello.
A fungus growing on the surface of a trunk on the side in contact with the ground, with a frayed appearance.
Supposedly conidiogenous hyphae forming a mass of intertwined, piled-up hyphae with brown intracellular pigment, very short septa, and a warty surface.
Moriform conidia, highly pigmented, making it very difficult to clearly observe the cells. These conidia measure:
(24.4) 27.1 - 46.5 (54.2) × (17.1) 20.6 - 33.9 (39.5) µm
Q = (1) 1.1 - 1.6 (2) ; N = 20
Me = 36.8 × 27.4 µm; Qe = 1.4
The closest thing I know to this would be from Didymocrea, but the conidia are too large for the genus.
Any feedback from you would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.
