One photo seems to show hairs, but I do not understand where they do belong.
The spores are mostly non-septate inside the living asci, as far as I see. This excludes Hymenoscyphus varicosporioides. Good would be to give a range for spore size (note that the spores with large guttules are dead and a bit smaller than the living), and to look if IKI is also negative. About the croziers I am not sure.
Is it a Fagus cupule?

O.k., a very faint reaction. I now really think it is Hymenoscyphus varicosporioides. although I am not sure how often the spores are septate already before spore discharge.
