Pyrenomycet on Vaccininum
Gernot Friebes, 19-06-2010 14:40
Hi,

I have no idea about this pyreno, maybe you can help me.

perithecia: black, +- immersed, smooth, opening with a round ostiole (ø ca. 15 µm), ø of perithecia ca. 100 µm.
asci: 8-spored, unitunicate, apical apparatus sometimes visible as small, refractive dots, cylindrical or slightly clavate, IKI-, 47-50 x 6-7 µm (not very mature).
paraphyses: non visible.
spores: hyaline, smooth, two-celled, slightly constricted at the septum, often slightly bent, filled with little drops, 15,5-20,5 x 2-2,5 µm.
substratum: leaves of Vaccinium. Soc. Lachnum microsporum, Gibbera vaccinii.

Best wishes and many thanks,

Gernot
