    today i found a xylaria-like fungi on horsedung. Other horsedungs were infected with poronia. Could this be X guepini? Found in the dunes the netherlands

It could be Xylaria guepinii (Fr. : Fr.), but it also could be other Xylaria species.
Your recolt seems to be the conidial stage, so let's go to maturity, describe the Xylaria (it's black generally), check ascopores in perithecias and then we'll be able to say which Xylaria it is... perhaps ;)
