Today my mushroom friend, a Herpotrichia on Frangula alnus has found. Does one have a key to this genre? The spores are first hyaline, with large and small oil drops, then brownish, and with true septa and sometimes even further with a septa. The size is about 30-35 x 6 µm. Who can help?
Peter

Re:Herpotrichia Key?
Hi Peter,
there is Barr (1984) with a key to the species of North America ( http://www.cybertruffle.org.uk/cyberliber/59575/0020/001/0001.htm ).
Unfortunately, I do not have the paper by Sivanesan (1971: The genus Herpotrichia Fuckel, Mycological Papers 127: 1-37) but I guess he also provides a key.
Best wishes,
Gernot

Re:Herpotrichia Key?
Danke Gernot.
Ich habe die Arbeit auch schon gespeichert, aber wenn man es braucht, findet man es nicht.
Das wird dann sicher H. macrotricha sein.
Gruß Peter
