Acervules brun datte clair, -> 1/4 mm, dispersées à la face inférieure des feuilles de Fagus sylvatica.
Conidiophores + ou - pyriformes, à collerette, hyalins, p.ex. 8-8.5 x 2.5-5 µ.
Conidies hyalines, très polymorphes, depuis le bâtonnet jusqu'au grain de riz, ou ovoïdes allongées, avex quelques inclusions, 4-8 x 1-2.5 µ.
