Hypocopra (?) on donkey dung

Some years ago (2004) I found these gregarious, small (up to 500 microns in diam.), flask-shaped and black perithecia inmersed on donkey dung. No obvious stroma, tomentum or clypeus I have seen around the perithecia.
Asci cylindrical up to 160 x 10, 8-spored, with an conspicuous and complex apical pore Mlz. and Mlz. bb (+).
Spores ellipsoid with a germ slit 3/4 spore length and an obvious gel seath that persists across the years.
What's your opinion about this fungus?. I think maybe is an Hypocopra species but I find any species that fits well with my collection.
Many thanks in advance
Enrique

Re : Hypocopra (?) on donkey dung
Hello Henrique.
Your fungus seems to be a Hypocropa. Some species have no stroma or he is not very visible. Have you been able to observe if there was a tomentum and if the spores had may be a small hyaline appendage at the base. In the documentation that I have I find no species with a dimention of spores as small.
Sorry I can not help you more.
Regards.
Michel.?

Re : Hypocopra (?) on donkey dung
I agree with Michel; it appears to be a good Hypocopra - but with spores that small I am confused; perhaps it's undescribed?
best wishes
Chris
