François BartholomeeusenGood morning,At the end of an excursion in De Zegg
We have collected on hare dung these very small (up to 150 microns in diam.), cleistothecioid, roundish ascomata with a reddish brown excipulum. They have up to 7-8 big, clavate asci up to 80-100 x 30-32 microns that have >64 (maybe 128) ascospores. Mlz. (-), not operculate.
We think could be Thelebolus dubius var. lagopi (Rea) Doveri.
What do you think?
Many thanks again
Enrique
I also harvested once described by Thelebolus dubius var.lagopi Doveri. Your copy looks good to the one I found, and I think your determination is correct. Unfortunately I have no pictures to offer you.?
I had harvested from rabbit droppings.
Good evening.?
Michel.
Many thanks, Michel
could you please send me a fresh collection of this soo I can do the phylogentic analysis for this
Thank you
I often very difficult to achieve accurately count the number of spores in asci multisporés, but there were more than 128 per ascus.?
Michel.
